‘belonging circle’ was a project that came to fruition through lots of talking and talking and talking about it, until finally, one day, Julia and I sat down and figured out what this could look like and we sent forth an email to our friends the following week.

From there, we shaped it into a seasonal reading and discussion circle to explore what belonging means in our lives and communities across the globe. Each month someone shared readings, music, or other materials with prompts, and then we gathered on the full moon to talk and share what we created. It was intentionally flexible—people did the readings on their own, shared work online, or just showed up to the call to join in on the convo, tangents, and silliness.
