line explorations
Inspired by my younger self who used to make these, these drawing exercises have become a favorite way to create when I’m low on energy. They start with something simple—tracing the lines of a crumpled piece of paper—but often unfold into shapes that feel connected to the things I love looking at: spider webs, pavement cracks, maps, neurons, and more. Most of the time I add a squiggle on purpose, a small reminder that it’s not about perfectly tracing every line, but about seeing what emerges from the page, from myself, and from wherever else creativity comes from.
